Rachel at the Alexandra Hospital

I know the people of Redditch and the Villages care passionately about the Alexandra Hospital and the delivery of health services. That's why I secured major investment in the Alex and its why I campaigned to return a maternity and children's service.

That investment I talk about includes a brand-new Breast Imaging Unit, state-of-the-art robot-assisted surgery, a multi-million-pound investment in new operating theatres and funding secured for a £3.9 million expansion of endoscopy services.

My track record of delivery also included securing the return of the Garden Suite Chemotherapy Unit to the Alex.

I also published My Long-Term Plan for the Delivery of Health and Social Care in Redditch & the Villages which sought to build on the progress that I believe I made since I was first elected in 2017.

On this section of my website you can follow the work I did to fight for the Alex.
