Rachel has welcomed further Government funding to help vulnerable residents with the cost of living.
In the Spring Budget, the Government announced it is providing an additional £500 million to enable the extension of the Household Support Fund from April to September 2024.
Writing for this week's Redditch Standard (May 3rd), Rachel said:
"Recently we’ve seen a number of local schools receive excellent Ofsted ratings – further proof young people in Redditch are receiving a great education.
Rachel is urging residents to share their views ahead of a parliamentary debate on transport in the West Midlands.
The MP for Redditch and the Villages has secured a Westminster Hall debate next Wednesday (May 8th) on Government funding for transport in the West Midlands.
The Conservative Government's plan to build a fairer immigration system, cut unsustainable and unfair levels of migration is delivering, with the latest statistics showing numbers coming on the three biggest visa routes are down 24% - we must stick to the plan and not go back to square one.
I know how important all aspects of the transport network are to my constituents, which is why I have secured a Westminster Hall debate on Government funding for transport in the West Midlands.
"When I was first elected as your MP, I promised I would fight for the Alexandra Hospital.
"Since then we've seen huge investment in our hospital as I deliver on my Long-Term Plan for the Delivery of Health and Social Care in Redditch and the Villages.
The new medical school in Worcestershire will “help in our fight to return a maternity and children’s service to the Alex” Rachel has said following its official opening.
