I said in 2019 I would support proposals which will reform the social care system in this country, and that’s exactly what I intend to do.
My mum is living with dementia, and after navigating the social care system for many years now, I know the system is in need of desperate reform. This is why I made social care reform a central pledge in my re-election campaign, and so did the Government.
