Rachel has vowed to act on residents’ concerns following the results of her crime and anti-social behaviour survey.
Hundreds of residents took part and made clear the issues they believe local police should be focussing on.
The top three issues residents identified the police should focus on includes tackling anti-social behaviour, violent crime and knife crime, and burglaries and robberies.
Following the results of her survey, Rachel will be writing to the local policing inspector to ensure officers are tackling and responding to residents’ top concerns.
“Keeping our streets safe is a top priority for me and for the Government, and so it’s my job as the local MP to understand what residents’ top concerns are.
“I will now use the results I’ve collected to ensure our police are focussed on my constituents’ top priorities.
“With police officer numbers at a record high in West Mercia and with Redditch getting a new police station, I’m confident our brave officers will continue to keep our streets safe.”
