The Conservative Party candidate for Redditch, Rachel Maclean, has today launched a Clean Campaign Pledge and is calling on the other candidates standing in the General Election to join her in signing it.
After meeting with her campaign team in Redditch town this morning, Rachel said, “The people of Redditch are tired of the negative activities that some campaigns have been using. My own social media accounts have already been trolled by activists in rival campaigns, and some of the messages have been unacceptable.”
“It’s time to clean up politics, and as candidates we should ensure that we always put the hardworking people of Redditch first, not our own political prejudices.”
“I hope that all candidates will sign up to this unbranded and neutrally-worded pledge so we can put the residents of Redditch first.”
