Residents are being invited to meet Rachel Maclean, the MP for Redditch County, at the next stop on her coffee morning tour on Friday, June 15th.
After the success of her first coffee morning at the Oasis Christian Centre last month, Rachel’s tour is back on the road and this time it is heading for Christ Church in Matchborough West.
The Ryton Close church will be hosting Rachel’s second coffee morning between 10am and 12pm where residents will be able to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, a slice of cake and have a chat with Rachel.
Rachel will be on hand, along with local Councillors, to discuss any local or national concerns residents may have.
There will be even more stall holders at Rachel’s second coffee morning. The Deputy Police & Crime Commissioner for West Mercia, Tracey Onslow, officers from Redditch Police Station, representatives from Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Service and the team from Barclays Bank in Redditch will be attending to offer information and advice to residents.
Rachel’s coffee morning will also be raising vital funds for The League of Friends of the Alexandra Hospital. This fantastic group of Redditch volunteers raise money for equipment and services to benefit the patients and staff at the town’s hospital.
Rachel said: “My first coffee morning was a huge success so I can’t wait to get back on the road to take the tour to Christ Church in Matchborough.
“These coffee mornings are an absolutely fantastic way for residents to come and meet me, whilst also enjoying a slice of cake and a cup of tea or coffee.
“As well as being able to chat with me, residents will be able to get some information and advice from local police officers, the fire service and online banking safety tips from the team at Barclays Bank in Redditch. Tracey Onslow, the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for West Mercia, will also be on hand to discuss any policing issues residents may have.
“Please do pop along if you can make it. I look forward to seeing you there!”
