Rachel has launched a new survey and is urging residents to have their say on bus services in Redditch.
It follows the first cross-party Redditch Bus Travel Task Force meeting which Rachel recently chaired.
With bus services a top priority for Rachel, the town’s MP wants to gather residents’ views on local services as part of her work with the County Council and the Government to protect, enhance and secure the future of bus travel.
Rachel said: “Whether they live in Redditch or in the villages, bus services are vital for many of my constituents.
“After an agreement was reached between the County Council and bus operators to continue all services until at least the end of March next year, I want to gather my constituents’ views on the service they’re receiving.
“Bus services still face challenges with lower passenger numbers and there isn’t just one solution to solve the problems services are facing.
“Work to protect, enhance and secure the future of bus travel in Redditch is ongoing, but it won’t happen overnight.
“However, at the first cross-party Redditch Bus Travel Task Force meeting we all agreed to work together to provide the best service possible for local residents. My constituents views on this will help support this work.”
The survey will be open until Wednesday, November 16th 2022. To have your say please visit: https://www.rachelmaclean.uk/news/redditch-bus-travel-survey
