What is Redditch Mentors?
Everyone should have the chance to succeed in life, no matter what their background. Redditch Mentors is a new initiative launched by the MP for Redditch, Rachel Maclean, to help give young people the life skills and advice they need to flourish.
Make a Positive Impact
If you are willing to share your knowledge and experience, mentoring is a rewarding way of using your talents to benefit others by getting out of your bubble and doing good in your community to help guide young people into the world of work. This is a great way to help young people understand how to succeed in life and be better prepared for their future careers.
Become a Mentor
Redditch Mentors is a fantastic way for you to get involved in transforming the lives of young people in Redditch and boosting pride throughout our region. If you have been successful in your career and you want to help young people just starting out, retraining or moving into new work, you can make a difference by becoming a Redditch Mentor.
Mentors will typically meet with a young person, either face to face or virtually, once or twice a month for an hour to discuss the young person’s studies and career opportunities.
