Rachel is holding a drop-in event to discuss residents’ concerns over speeding in Astwood Bank.
The event is taking place this Friday (November 11th) from 9.30am until 10.30am at St Matthias and St George Church on Church Road.
Local police officers and councillors will be attendance to discuss speeding along Evesham Road and what can be done to tackle this issue.
It’s a drop-in event, giving residents the opportunity to stop by at any time between 9.30am and 10.30am.
The Borough’s MP recently joined officers and councillors on a speed enforcement exercise on Evesham Road after a constituent raised concerns about this issue at a recent surgery.
Rachel discussed the challenges police officers face when it comes to reducing speeding offences and the prevalence of this issue along Evesham Road.
Rachel said: “I'm keen to see what we can do to tackle this problem head on. As part of this work I’m holding a drop-in event on this issue to give residents the opportunity to raise their concerns with myself, local police officers and councillors.”
