This section of my website contains some useful information on the latest stats for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and Redditch and Bromsgrove CCG.

A&E:

  • 16,136 more people were seen in under 4 hours in 2016/17 compared to 2009/10.
  • In the year to date, 81% of people coming to A&E were seen within 4 hours. In December 2017, the figure was 75.%.

 

Operations:

  • In 2009/10, the Acute Trust performed 70,410 operations. In 2016/17, the number of operations increased by 41,354 to 111,764.

 

Diagnostic Tests:

  • In 2009/10, the Acute trust carried out 153,487 diagnostic tests. In 2016/17, the number of diagnostic tests carried out increased by 30,755 to 184,242.

 

Workforce:

  • There are now 37 more hospital doctors than 2010.
  • There are now 84 more nurses than 2010.
  • At Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, their registered nursing vacancy rates have reduced from 8.4% to 7.5% (April 1 2017 to March 31 2018).
  • The turnover rate for registered nurses has reduced from 14.58% to 10.13% (April 1 2017 to March 31 2018)
  •  at the Acute Trust.  

 

Improving Access to Psychological Therapies - NHS Redditch and Bromsgrove CCG:

  • 87% of people referred to the IAPT programme are seen within 6 weeks (target 75%) compared with 88.7% nationally.
  • 99% of people are seen within 18 weeks (target 95%) compared with 98.9% nationally.

 

NHS Redditch and Bromsgrove CCG:

  • In 2017/18, the CCG received £201.5 million - a cash increase of 2% on the previous year.
  • In 2018/19, the CCG will receive £205.5 million - a cash increase of 1.99%.

 

Herefordshire and Worcestershire STP Footprint:

  • This year’s funding is £1.2 billion.
  • Between 2015/16 and 2020/21, funding is expected to rise on current plans by £177.6 million – a cash increase of 16%.

 

Worcestershire County Council:

  • Over the next three years Worcestershire County Council could receive £20.2 million of the additional £2 billion funding announced for social care in the spring 2017 Budget.

Fighting for the Alex

I know the people of Redditch and the Villages care passionately about the Alexandra Hospital and the delivery of health services. That's why I have secured more investment in the Alex and its why I'm continuing my campaign to return a maternity and children's service.
