As well as representing you in debates and raising issues you all care passionately about, since joining Parliament I have joined a number of All-Party Parliamentary Groups on issues close to my heart.
All-Party Parliamentary Groups, or APPGs, are informal cross-party groups which are run by MPs. They are usually set-up to focus on single issues to help raise more awareness and to influence policy.
I am currently Chair of the APPG for Animal Welfare, Chair of the APPG for Women in Parliament, Co-Chair of the APPG for Carers and I am also a member of the APPG for New Towns.
