“The infection rate in Redditch is continuing to fall. The latest data shows the rate per 100,000 is now 274 – down from 298 yesterday. This is still above the England rate, but below the West Midlands rate. This data is important as it’ll inform tomorrow’s decision about which tier we’re placed in.
“Thanks to everyone’s hard work the infection rate is heading in the right direction. But we can’t let up now, let’s continue to follow the rules to ensure the infection rate falls further.”
