Residents will have more opportunities to tour Parliament and meet their MP this year following the return of Rachel’s successful coach tours.

Having hosted ten very successful day trips to the Houses of Parliament since October 2018, the extremely popular coach trips return in 2020 with new dates announced.

The tours give constituents the opportunity of a day out to London, with the chance to meet their Member of Parliament in an exclusive Q&A session in Westminster Hall followed by an official tour of the Palace of Westminster.

Tours are currently scheduled for the following dates:

  • Friday, 6 March 2020
  • Friday, 1 May 2020
  • Friday, 3 July 2020

Rachel said: “These trips have been absolutely brilliant and seem to be enjoyed by everyone, not just those interested in politics, because the building and its history are fascinating and unique.

“You can walk past the Dispatch Box where the Prime Minister stands each Wednesday, see the spot where King Charles I was condemned to death and visit the Royal Robing Rooms where the Queen readies herself for the State Opening of Parliament – and you can ask me questions about my role as your MP!

“By any measure this is universally enjoyed by all.”
