Following the vote on the Withdrawal Agreement today (March 29th), Rachel said:

“I’m disappointed with today’s result. On the day we should have been leaving the EU, I voted for the Withdrawal Agreement as it was the clearest route out of the EU. I’ve consistently stood by my election promise to deliver Brexit and I will continue to vote to leave with or without a deal.

“I voted for the UK to leave the EU on March 29th and have voted against all extensions to Article 50.

“Instead of acting in the national interest today Labour voted against the Withdrawal Agreement without even reading it. Labour have shown they truly are the party of remain.”
