Rachel has issued the following statement following the terror attack in Westminster yesterday (August 14th):
Rachel said: “My thoughts are with all those affected by the incident in Westminster this morning. Thankfully the London Ambulance Service has confirmed they don’t believe anyone has been seriously injured by the incident. I wish all those affected a speedy recovery.
“At times like this it reminds us all how incredibly brave our police officers are. Officers will tell us they’re just doing their job, but we should never forget that they put their lives on the line, day in, day out, to keep us all safe.
“The UK terror threat level remains at ‘severe,’ which means an attack is highly likely. Although we can’t allow these terrorists to affect how we go about our daily lives, we should however always remain alert to the danger of terrorism and report any suspicious activity to the police by calling 999 or the anti-terrorist hotline on 0800 789 321.
“We must never let terrorists divide us.”
